April March was an indie rock quartet from Los Angeles that formed in the early 2000s. They released their self-titled debut album in 2004, followed by 'The Bluebird of Happiness' in 2006 and 'Triggers' in 2009. The band went on indefinite hiatus in 2009.
The group consisted of Kieren McKerrnan on lead vocals and guitar, Franklin James Fisher on bass and keyboards, Matthew Campione on drums, and Ian Walsh on guitar. Their songs included 'Chick Habit' and 'Caribou' among others.
Their music had an atmospheric quality with ethereal vocals and intricate instrumentation. The band developed a following for their particular approach to indie rock before their hiatus.
