Their early sound mixed rock, metal, and electronica in ways that didn't fit neatly with what was popular at the time, which made it hard to get attention from labels or critics.
They put out their self-titled debut album in 2001. The record got some notice for its atmospheric, experimental feel, but it was the song 'Aneurisma' that really defined them. With its graphic lyrics about a brain aneurysm, it sparked arguments, some called it a powerful piece of storytelling, others saw it as troubling. Either way, it became their biggest hit, topping charts in Argentina and cementing their place in Latin American rock.
