Arena Country

Arena Country formed in 1998 in Nova Prata, a small town in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The original lineup included Nelson Nascimento on vocals and guitar, Sérgio Carvalho on bass, Carlos Roberto on drums, and Paulo César on keyboards. They started playing local festivals and fairs, drawing from the country music traditions of their region.

Their debut album 'Arena Country' came out in 2002 and included the song 'Como Um Beijo,' which became a national hit in Brazil. That track's melody and lyrics connected with listeners and helped establish the band's presence. Other songs like 'Cowboy Violeiro' and 'É Nessa Que Eu Vou' also appear among their most recognized work.

After their debut, Arena Country released several more albums including 'Mais Um Doce Beijo' in 2003, 'Tempo de Amar' in 2005, and 'O Amor É Tudo' in 2007. The band has seen some lineup changes over time, with Nelson Nascimento remaining a constant member.
