Arion is a Finnish melodic metal band that formed in 2010, with vocalist Lassi Vääränen at the front. They came together after the power metal group Northern Kings had run its course. Their debut album 'Last of Us' arrived in 2013, and the track 'At The Break Of Dawn' featuring Elize Ryd from Amaranthe got them some real attention.
Guitarist Iivo Kaitala left the band in 2016, and Elias Viljanen stepped in. They've put out a few albums since that first one, like 'Unforgivable' in 2017 and 'Vultures Die Alone' in 2019. Other songs in their catalog include 'In The Name Of Love' and 'I Am The Storm'.
The current lineup has Vääränen on vocals, Viljanen on guitar, Arttu Vauhkonen on bass, Jimi Westerlund on drums, and Henri Suominen on keyboards. Their 2021 album was called 'Life Is Not Beautiful'.
