Arkketipo is a Portuguese rock band that formed with Diogo "Dida" Maia on vocals and guitar, Tiago "Tico" Ribeiro on bass, Miguel "Mingas" Rodrigues on drums, and Vasco "Vascocellos" Rodrigues on guitar. They released their debut album "Nasceremos" in 2007, followed by "Cada Vez Mais" in 2010 and "Entre Dois Mundos" in 2014.
Their 2017 album "Perdoa-me" became their most commercially successful work.
In 2012, vocalist Dida was diagnosed with a vocal cord hemorrhage that forced the band to cancel a tour. He underwent vocal rehabilitation before they resumed performing.
