Armando Flores

Armando Flores came up in Monterrey, Mexico, where he started playing norteño music with his brothers Alfredo and José Luis. They performed together as Armando Flores y Su Grupo, with Flores handling vocals while his brothers played bass and drums.

In 1994, Flores released "Noche Azul," a song that became his most recognizable track. He also recorded other songs like "A Mi Con Lo Que Gano," "Baila El Mono," "Carmen," and "Cerca de Ti." His music stayed mostly within norteño traditions, though he sometimes worked with ballad arrangements.

Flores faced some legal trouble in 2007 when he was accused of drug possession, which briefly interrupted his career. He returned to music afterward, continuing to perform with his group.
