Armonía 10

Armonía 10 formed in Lima in the early 1990s, with Walter Lozada leading the group. They built a following playing small venues and local festivals, mixing traditional Peruvian rhythms with modern cumbia. Their sound was straightforward and direct, built around melodies that stuck with listeners.

In 1995, they released "Ya No Quiero Llorar," which became a hit across Peru. The song's success opened up touring opportunities, and they played to larger crowds both at home and abroad. Other songs like "La Duda" and "Siempre Pierdo En El Amor" kept their sound in regular rotation on radio stations.

They continued releasing music that worked within the cumbia format they'd established, with Lozada's vocals at the center.
