The band included Jonas Frederick on lead vocals and guitar, Gavin Jones on lead guitar and vocals, Liam Foster on bass and vocals, and Ethan Taylor on drums and vocals. They released their first album, "Toy Story From ABC," in 2004.
Their music leaned on power chords and catchy hooks, with lyrics that often touched on growing up and friendship. In 2007, they faced accusations of plagiarizing a melody from another band, which led to a brief legal dispute. They followed "Toy Story From ABC" with albums like "The Plastic Brigade" in 2006 and "Operation: Rock Out" in 2008.
Army Guys were known for energetic live shows. They put out two more albums, "Full Metal Rock" in 2010 and "Brothers in Arms" in 2012, before their activity seemed to taper off.
