They worked with traditional Brazilian rhythms like samba and choro while drawing from American folk rock influences.
Their song 'Chão de Esmeraldas' came out in 1976 and became their most recognized track. The lyrics often dealt with love and loss, written mostly by Chico and Venturini. The band released four studio albums during their active years.
This didn't stop them from recording, though their output was limited to those four records before things wound down.
