Falling away

Down into the darkest place I know

Reeling away from the edge

Facing my way down

I close my eyes

Take another breath and just climb

Take every single thorn in my sight

And move on, and on, and on

Face myself or erase myself in the fall

Taken away

Far from every single thing I knew

Forcing myself to forget

Everything below me

And maybe I am sick and I'm tired
