As Memory Dies formed in Phoenix, Arizona in 2004, with guitarist Isaiah Moore and bassist Justin Hillhouse working with vocalist Ryan Nevins. They released their debut album 'The Promise of Tomorrow' in 2007, which established their melodic metalcore sound.
In 2010, the song 'A Season of Failures' became their most recognized track. They toured with bands like Killswitch Engage and As I Lay Dying around that time. Vocalist Ryan Nevins left the band in 2012, and Josh Edens took over as vocalist.
With Edens, they released their third album 'Clawing Back from the Dark' in 2014. Their discography includes songs like 'Eyeway To Identity' and a multi-part adaptation of 'The Tragical History Of Doctor Faustus'.
