Ash Keeper formed in Seattle in 2015 around vocalist Lily Atlas and guitarist Ethan Blackwood. Their first EP, "Echoes of the Void," came out the following year. The band added bassist Jessa Walker in 2017 and drummer Finn Reid in 2019.
Their track "Grass" became a fan favorite, pairing Atlas's vocals with ambient textures. The song appeared on their 2018 album "Aether." In 2019, Atlas dealt with vocal cord nodules but returned after a period of rest.
Ash Keeper has kept a fairly low profile, playing limited shows. They released another EP, "The Sound of Silence," in 2021.
