Archive material and source history
The Atomic Fireballs came out of Minneapolis in the early 2000s with a garage rock sound that pulled from punk, rockabilly, and surf. Their first album, 2002's 'Torch of the Mystics,' had the single 'Swing Sweet Pussycat.' They followed it with 'Are You Ready to Testify?' in 2004 and 'Lights Out' in 2006.
Chris Regner sang and played guitar, with John Hoffman on bass, Jason Deal on drums, and Samual Keith on guitar. Keith was later replaced by Ed Ackerson. Their songs like 'Calypso King' and 'Man With The Hex' kept the energy up.
They put out a compilation called 'Honey From the Hive' in 2008 with remastered tracks and some unreleased material.
