They worked out of Los Angeles, drawing from jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music. Their debut album 'When the Pigeons Come Home to Roost' came out in 1995, followed by 'Headphone Science' in 1999 and 'The Acid Lab' in 2004.
Their track 'Atoms All-Stars' became something of an anthem for the group, capturing their blend of styles. Other songs like 'Small Violins' and 'Who Am I?' showed their range. The collective included Wildchild on vocals alongside Madlib's production and Perkins' multi-instrumental work.
