ATX formed in Brasília in 2010 with vocalist Renan Inquérito, drummer André Coutinho, and bassist Fábio Nin. They released their debut album 'Decisão' in 2013, which included the title track that became their breakthrough song. The band's lineup has changed over time, with guitarist Renato Vianna joining at some point.
Their music falls into the pop rock category, and they've put out several albums since that first one. They followed up with 'Eu Acredito' in 2015, 'Até o Céu' in 2017, and 'Infinito' in 2019. In 2016, they faced criticism after a performance that some saw as promoting homophobia, and the band later apologized for it.
Bassist Fábio Nin left the group in 2018, though the current members continue to perform and record together.
