AUDAC is an electronic trio from Croatia, with Ivan Orešković, Dario Linardi, and Davor Marinković making up the group. They started putting out music in the early 2000s, working with synths and basslines that didn't fit neatly into one genre. Their first album, 'Temple of Sound,' came out in 2008.
That album included 'Back to the Future,' a track that got some attention and ended up in a few films and TV shows. It's still one of their better-known songs, along with 'DARK SIDE' and 'Esprit.' They followed up with albums like 'The Lost Codex' in 2011 and 'Echoes from the Past' in 2016.
Their sound shifted a bit over those records, moving between ambient textures and darker, more introspective material. They kept at it without much fanfare, playing shows here and there and putting out music when they had it ready.
