Audio Secrecy

Audio Secrecy formed after Allison Grey and Ethan James met at a local music festival, later joined by drummer Michael Blackwood. Their song 'Absolution' from 2019 became their most recognizable track, though the band's experimental approach has sometimes drawn criticism from more traditional listeners.

Grey's vocals, James's guitar work, and Blackwood's drumming create a sound that leans toward the atmospheric and introspective. Other songs like 'Adrenaline Rush' and 'Bury Me Now' show a similar preference for mood over conventional structure.

They haven't chased mainstream approval, sticking instead to their own vision of what music can be. The result is work that feels personal and a bit removed from typical genre expectations.
