Aura is a Brazilian band fronted by vocalist and songwriter Fabio Gouveia. They formed around 2015 when Gouveia teamed up with guitarist Rafael Moreira, drawing some inspiration from acts like Coldplay and Muse. Their debut single 'Emoji' came out in 2016 and caught on with listeners, leading to their first album 'Supernova'.
Moreira left the band in 2017, leaving Gouveia to continue as a solo artist under the Aura name. In 2020, Gouveia faced plagiarism accusations regarding his song 'Aurora,' which led to a temporary pause in the band's activities. After that, he returned to the studio with a new lineup.
