Their recording of "An American Trilogy" in 1995 became one of their better-known releases. In 2016, that same song drew criticism for how it handled Confederate history, though the choir maintained they were just performing it without political intent.
Evan Owen conducted the group from its founding until 1972, followed by William Llewellyn and then John Lloyd. They've put out albums like "Welsh Hymns and Songs" in 1960 and "Songs of the Outback" in 1985, mostly sticking to traditional material.
