Ave Rico is a band from Rome led by Ettore Giuradei. Their debut album 'Non Mi Fa Paura' came out in 2015, with the title track becoming their most recognizable song. The music mixes electronica and pop with Italian folk elements, which some found too experimental at the time.
They followed that album with 'Canti e Battiti' in 2017 and 'Contatto' in 2020. These records continued working with ambient textures and traditional instruments, sometimes incorporating operatic touches. Francesco Giuradei, Ettore's brother, was also part of the group.
