Aviary

Aviary formed in Los Angeles around 2007 with Michael Winograd on vocals, Dave Eggar on guitar, Matt Sklar on drums, and David Pulkingham on bass. They put out a self-titled debut that year, then followed it with Echo & Light in 2010. That second album included 'Anthem for the U.S.A.,' which became their most recognized track.

Their music often worked with acoustic and electronic textures, and later records like Fearless in 2013 and Human Nature in 2018 kept that blend while touching on social themes. Other songs in their catalog include 'As Close As You Can Get,' 'Average Boy,' and 'Feel The Heart (Then You'll Be Mine Again).'
