Ayo & Teo

Ayo & Teo are brothers from Ann Arbor, Michigan who started making music together as teenagers. They're known for their dance-heavy performances and the way their voices work together, with Ayo handling most of the singing and Teo often taking the rap verses.

Their 2017 single "Rolex" became a viral hit, partly because of the choreography that went with it. That song gave them their first real attention and led to their debut album, also called "Rolex," which came out the following year. Other tracks like "Better Off Alone" and "Fly N Ghetto" followed a similar pattern of catchy hooks built around dance moves.

In 2019, they dealt with a copyright claim over a sample used in one of their songs, though the details of how it was resolved aren't widely documented. They've also done some commercial and television work outside of music, though their main focus has remained on recording and performing.
