Archive material and source history
B-612 formed in Brazil in the early 2000s, taking their name from the asteroid in Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's 'The Little Prince.' The group included Ana Gabriela on vocals, Bruno Gouveia on guitar and songwriting, Marcelo Camelo on bass, and Rodrigo Barba on drums. They released their debut album 'Paraíso Artificial' in 2005, followed by 'Dois Selos' in 2007.
Songs like 'Agora Eu Sei' and 'Suelen' from those albums became known for their layered vocals and reflective lyrics. The band went on hiatus in 2008, then reunited a decade later to record their third album, 'Astronauta,' which came out in 2019.
