B. Bishop formed in Monterrey, Mexico in 2006 around vocalist and guitarist Benito Martínez, who performs under the band's name. He started the group with drummer Jonathan Bañuelos and bassist Rolando Hernández. They put out their first album, "Corazón Indomable," that same year.
Their 2015 single "Loco de Amor" became a hit across Latin America. The song gave its name to their third album, which also included the track "Piedade." The band took a brief hiatus in 2018 but returned to release another album called "Renacer."
