B-Front

B-Front is a Dutch hardstyle duo made up of Bob van der Palen and Rob Hartveld. They started working together around 2005 after meeting at a record store, with van der Palen having previously recorded as Coone and Hartveld as Side-B. Their music tends to balance hardstyle's energy with more reflective moods.

Their track "Inner Creativity" became a notable release for them, touching on themes of self-exploration. Other songs like "1.000.000 Stars," "Awake," and "Darkside" show their range within the genre. They've worked with other hardstyle artists including D-Block & S-te-Fan, Adaro, and Phuture Noize.

In 2011 they drew some criticism for a remix of the Dutch national anthem, which they said they learned from. Their sound has incorporated elements from progressive house and techno while keeping a hardstyle foundation. They record from a studio in the Netherlands.
