B2Y was a Korean ballad trio formed in the early 2000s with members Kim Hyo-jin, Han Sang-hyuk, and Kim Hee-jun. Their debut single "My Love (Nae Sarang Mibsang)" came out in 2002 and found an audience with its emotional delivery. They followed it with songs like "Na, Weon, Cham" and "Jeez!" that kept to their ballad style.
In 2005, there were some plagiarism questions around their song "Bad Guy," which the group addressed with an apology. The lineup shifted over the next few years, with Kim Hee-jun leaving in 2006 and Han Sang-hyuk departing in 2008. Kim Hyo-jin kept the group going with new members for a while.
B2Y disbanded in 2014. Their songs, including "Neomanui Cheonsa" and "You're Very Angelic," still get played by fans who liked their straightforward ballad approach.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
