Baby Alice

Baby Alice was a Swedish pop group that formed in 2007. They're best known for their 2007 single "Piña Colada Boy," a lighthearted song about a romantic ideal that became a summer radio staple in several countries. The group included Linda Sundblad on lead vocals, her sister Lisa Sundblad on vocals, Jennifer Brown on vocals, Jon Bjorkman on guitar, Gustav Johansson on bass, and Anders Johansson on drums.

Their music had the kind of straightforward, melodic pop hooks that made Swedish groups like ABBA famous, though Baby Alice worked with simpler arrangements and more playful lyrics. They released albums like "20.000 Stars" in 2008 and "Baby Alice" in 2010, but none of their later material matched the reach of "Piña Colada Boy."

At one point, their song "Bodyguard" drew some criticism for lyrics some found inappropriate for younger listeners. There was also a legal issue over a sample in another track. The group kept recording through 2014's "Four," but they never recaptured that initial burst of attention.
