BabyBeard formed in 2013 with two singers, Suzuhana Yuki and Koizumi Kyoko. Their first single, "Nippon Kara Konnichiwa," became a breakout hit that same year. The group's music mixed J-pop with Western influences, which sometimes drew criticism for how it handled cultural references.
They released several albums including Nippon Kara Konnichiwa in 2013, BabyBearland in 2014, Kyomo BabyBeard in 2015, and BabyBeard IV in 2016. Another track, "Pie naizā," appears among their notable songs. BabyBeard worked with other Japanese artists like Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Perfume, and Dempagumi.inc before disbanding in 2017.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
