Archive material and source history

Babylon Fading formed in London in 2006 with Ryan Cleary on vocals and guitar, Marc Headdon on bass, Chris Riddell on guitar, and Chris Turner on drums. They put out their first album, 'Of Stars and Static,' in 2008. Bassist Marc Headdon left the band in 2009, and Dave Everett joined to take his place.

Their second album, 'Broken Halos,' came out in 2011. The title track, along with songs like 'Godlike' and 'The Night the Angels Cried,' helped the record find an audience. The album was nominated for the Mercury Prize.

After that, they released 'The Wanderer' in 2014, 'Echoes' in 2017, and 'Lost Horizons' in 2020.
