Baby's Breath formed in Tokyo in the early 2000s around vocalist Yuki and keyboardist Hiroko, later adding guitarist Makoto and bassist Tomoyuki. Their debut single 'Sen no Kaze ni Natte' got some attention for Yuki's vocals and the band's arrangements.
They released albums like 'Kusabi' in 2005, 'Hikari' in 2008, and 'Inori' in 2012. In 2007, their album 'Last Scene' was pulled from stores after conservative groups objected to a song about abortion.
In 2010 they put out the single 'Hikari no Hoshi' with Indian musician Zakir Hussain.
