Bad Manners came out of East London in the late 1970s, part of that ska revival scene. They were known for being loud and a bit silly on stage, with songs like "Can Can" and "Special Brew" that had a straightforward, jumpy energy. Their first album was called "Ska 'n' B."

They put out records like "Looney Tunes!" and "Goggle Eyes" that mixed ska with some punk and reggae touches. The band's lineup included Buster Bloodvessel on vocals, Louis Alphonso on guitar, Chris Foreman on bass, Winston Blagrove on drums, and David Farren on saxophone.

Their shows could get rowdy, which sometimes meant trouble with venues. But they kept playing that basic, cheerful ska sound. You can hear it in tracks like "Baggy Trousers" and "Hoots Mon! There's a Moose Loose About This Hoose."
