Bajm formed in Lublin in 1978 with Beata Kozidrak on vocals, Piotr Mizerski on guitar, Jaroslaw Kozlowski on bass, and Piotr Cugowski on drums. Their self-titled debut came out in 1983, followed by albums like 'Biała Armia' in 1985 and 'Martwa Woda' in 1994. The band's sound has always centered on Kozidrak's voice and straightforward rock arrangements.
Their song 'Al Mi Tamtych Nocy I Dni' became something of an anthem in Poland, and other tracks like 'Belle Ami' and 'Diament I Sol' kept them on radio playlists through the 80s and 90s. Mizerski left in 1987, which shifted their guitar sound, and Kozidrak faced legal trouble in 1997 that briefly interrupted their momentum.
Later albums included 'W Mojej Może' in 2009, and the lineup settled with Kozidrak, Marek Piotrowski on guitar, Andrzej Piaseczny on bass, and Tomasz Zeliszewski on drums. They kept touring and recording, maintaining a steady presence without dramatic reinventions.
