Their debut album 'Balanço do Forró Vol. 1' came out in 1998 and included the song 'Pra Quer Saber Meu Nome,' which became a hit in forró circles.
Silvério Pereira left the band in 2004, and Rogério Souza took over on vocals. They kept recording through the 2000s with albums like 'Forró Moderno' and 'Balanço do Forró ao Vivo.' Other songs in their catalog include 'De Rapariga Eu Entendo' and 'Coração Roedor.'
Their sound stayed rooted in forró's accordion melodies and dance rhythms even as members changed. The current lineup lists Rogério Souza and Débora Santos on vocals, Raimundo Nonato on accordion, Paulo Ricardo on bass, Zé Roberto on percussion, and Cícero Brito on guitar.
