Balbuena is a Colombian band from Medellín that started releasing music around 2012. Their self-titled debut album came out that year, and they followed it with "Dígame" in 2014. The title track from that album became one of their better-known songs.
In 2016, there were some public allegations about the melody for "Dígame" being similar to another artist's work. The band denied it, but the situation drew attention. A couple years later, in 2018, their guitarist and founding member left the group.
They've kept working since then. You can hear their more recent material on tracks like "Sextou," which features Gabily and Farinelli.
