Bald Vulture

Bald Vulture was a band that made abrasive, dissonant music with lyrics that challenged listeners. Their debut EP from 2021 was called "Nothing Close To Your Fake Reality," which became something of an anthem for them. They followed that with a full-length album in 2022 called "The Obsidian Void," and another release in 2023 titled "Apocalypse Now."

Their songs had titles like "Pretty Boobs," "Blue Army," "Brainwashing School," and "Butt Face Cops," which gives you a sense of their confrontational approach. The music wasn't subtle, and it earned them a polarizing reputation. Some critics dismissed them as nihilistic, while others found something genuine in their raw sound.

They had a lineup with members using theatrical nicknames: Uriah "The Raven" Blackwood on vocals, Ethan "The Vulture" Cruz on guitar, Sebastian "The Serpent" LeClair on bass, and Kira "The Black Widow" Frost on drums. Their 2023 release "Apocalypse Now" incorporated some industrial and electronic elements, pushing their sound in new directions before they faded from view.
