Baldrs Draumar formed in Oslo in the mid-1990s. Their early years were lean, with little industry support and tight finances. They put out their first album, 'The Edge of Darkness,' in 1997.
Things shifted with their second album, 'Improvised Explosions,' in 2001. The single 'Hva Faen?!' became a point of contention, its direct lyrics drawing criticism from some quarters while others heard it as a blunt statement of frustration. The band's catalog includes albums like 'Into the Dark' from 2004 and 'Introspective' from 2007.
Espen Andersen handles vocals, Bjørn Haraldsson plays drums, and Knut Isachsen is on guitar. Their sound pulls from hard rock and punk, with songs like 'Soannen Fan Inguz' and 'Vegtams Sønner' in their repertoire.
