They released their first album, Sombra Cúbica, in 2013, followed by Nada a Declarar in 2016 and Palavras Nuas in 2018. Their 2016 single "Noites Mal Dormidas" became their most recognizable track, exploring themes of insomnia and restlessness with a quiet, haunting quality. In 2020, they put out an album sharing that song's title.
In 2017, Banana Pie canceled their first planned international tour for personal reasons. They've maintained a fairly low profile since, letting their music, particularly the reflective mood of "Noites Mal Dormidas", speak for itself within Brazil's independent scene.
