Their debut single 'Aie a Mwana' got some attention in the UK, but it was 'Cruel Summer' that really broke them internationally. That song was written by Prince, which helped push it to number one in several countries.

During the 1980s they worked with other artists like Fun Boy Three and Eurythmics. Siobhan Fahey left in 1988 to go solo, which changed the group's dynamic. They kept making music after that, including songs like 'Venus' and 'Robert De Niro's Waiting,' but their later albums didn't sell as well as the earlier ones.

Their catalog includes tracks like 'Let it Be,' 'You Give Love A Bad Name,' and 'A Trick Of The Night.' The lineup shifted over time with various members coming and going, but Woodward and Dallin remained constants through most of it.
