Banda 10-40

Banda 10-40 formed in Mazatlán, Sinaloa around 2010, taking their name from a CB radio channel used by police. They spent their early years playing local festivals and bars, gradually building a following in the banda scene.

Their 2016 single "A Procura" became a national hit in Mexico, with its straightforward melody and lyrics connecting with listeners. That song, along with others like "Amor Pra Mim e Pra Você" and "Não Posso Viver," helped establish their sound.

The band is led by vocalist Erick Aragón and includes musicians on trumpet, tuba, drums, keyboards, and other traditional banda instruments. They've released albums like "Los Compas" and "El Color de Tu Mirada," and have worked with artists including Saúl "El Jaguar" Alarcón.
