Banda 2lov formed in 2012 as a collaboration between Henrique Castro and Alexandre Marrone. They started playing local bars and festivals before signing with Universal Music Brazil. Their 2013 debut album, named after the song "Amigos Que Se Vão," brought them wider attention in the sertanejo scene.
That title track became their most recognizable song, along with others like "Curtindo a Vida" and "Lembranças do Verão Passado." In 2015, Henrique Castro left the group, and Alexandre Marrone continued as frontman with new member Felipe Araujo. They released several more albums including "Eu Sou o Som" in 2016 and "Deixa Ele Entrar" in 2018.
