Banda Alcora was a Spanish group from Valencia that formed in 1993. They released three albums between 1998 and 2005, with their first record sharing its name with their most well-known song, "1975." The band's lineup included Vicente Giner on vocals and guitar, Eduardo Guillem on guitar, Josep Pérez on bass, and José Miguel Martínez on drums.
Their 1998 song "1975" became their signature track, though its politically charged lyrics about Spain's history drew some criticism at the time. The band also recorded other songs like "Anjos que caem," "Flores Mortas," and "Sonhos Mudos" during their run.
Banda Alcora disbanded in 2009 after releasing their final album "En la arena" in 2005. Their earlier work "Silencio" from 2001 showed a more introspective direction compared to their debut.
