They put out albums like 'Axé com Amor' in 2000, a self-titled record in 2002, and 'Massa Sonora' in 2005.
Their song 'Desapareça' became a hit but also brought trouble in 2005 when someone accused the band of plagiarizing it from an older composition. They denied the claim, saying the work was their own.
By 2008 they'd released a compilation called '10 Anos', marking a decade together. Their sound mixed the upbeat rhythms of axé with lyrics that sometimes touched on personal or social themes, which connected with listeners across Brazil.
