Their debut single "El Hijo del Grande" came out in 2006 and helped them find an audience.
That same year they released the album "El Komander: Mi Intención (Si Pudiera Ser Tuyo)", which includes the song "My intention (If I Could be yours)". The band kept recording through the 2010s with albums like "El Tío" in 2015 and "El Compa Alfredo" in 2018.
Alongside Ríos, the group has included members like José Manuel "El Chepe" on bass, José Luis "El Puma" on drums, Miguel Ángel "El Migue" on saxophone, and Alejandro "El Alex".
