They gained wider recognition in the early 1990s with their album "Pula, Pula, Pula," which included songs like "É o Tchan" and "Dance do Vampiro."
In 1997, Bell Marques left the group to pursue a solo career, which disrupted their momentum for several years. Carlinhos Brown replaced him as lead vocalist in 2005, and under his leadership the band began incorporating funk, soul, and Afro-Brazilian rhythms into their sound. Their catalog includes songs like "Já Não Dar Mais Pra Viver," "Louco De Saudade," and "A Voz Do Sambista."
They've released albums including "Roda Viva" in 2004 and "O Mundo É Nosso" in 2015. Their live performances continue to draw crowds in Brazil and internationally.
