Banda Baetz

Banda Baetz formed in São Paulo with four musicians who shared an interest in alternative rock and electronic sounds. Their 2001 debut album 'Sobrevivendo no Inferno' established them in Brazil's rock scene, followed by releases like 'Infinito Particular' in 2003 and 'Fetiche' in 2005. The single 'Clone' became particularly well-known, with its mix of rock energy and electronic touches.

Their lineup included vocalist Pedro Luis, guitarist Guto Goffi, bassist André Fonseca, and drummer Marcos Suzano. Songs like 'Coisa de Cinema' and 'Pra Sempre Vou Te Amar' show their range from more atmospheric tracks to straightforward rock. They kept recording through the 2000s, putting out 'O Melhor pra Você' in 2009.

At various points, the band faced accusations of plagiarism and drug use, which they denied. Their music often dealt with social themes and personal reflection, as heard in tracks like 'Se Não For Por Amor' and 'A Força do Amor'. They maintained a following in Brazil with their blend of rock instrumentation and electronic elements.
