Banda Buffalo came out of Rio de Janeiro with a straightforward sound that caught on quickly. Their song "Do Jeito Que Ela Gosta" became a hit in 2004, and they followed it with other tracks like "Madalena (Entra Em Beco Sai Em Beco)" and "No Arrasta-Pé."
They were a group of young musicians who faced some skepticism early on, but they kept working and built a following. Their music sometimes drew criticism for its direct lyrics, but they generally shrugged it off and kept playing.
