Banda Class 101

Banda Class 101 formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2001, with founding members Zé Ricardo and Ronald Big Boy. They were joined by Thalma de Freitas on vocals, Anderson Morais on guitar, and Fabiano Araújo on drums. Their first album came out the following year, simply called 'Banda Class 101.'

Their 2004 album 'Cotidiano' gave them their signature song of the same name, a track about everyday life that became widely popular. Other songs like 'Inverso' and 'Nada É Tão Certo' also found an audience. The band released several more albums through the 2000s, including 'Mil Coisas' in 2006 and 'Mais que Tudo' in 2009.

In 2009, the group faced some public criticism over accusations of plagiarism, which they denied. They kept making music after that, but the details of their later work aren't as clear in the record.
