Banda Dk

Banda DK formed in Fortaleza, Brazil in 1996 around singer Marcos Vinícius and guitarist Bruno César, with bassist André Brasileiro and drummer Daniel Oliveira completing the lineup. They spent their early years practicing and playing local shows, though they faced some initial rejection from clubs and labels.

Their 2003 single "Pensando Em Você" became a national hit in Brazil, changing their trajectory. The song's straightforward melody and emotional delivery connected with audiences in a way their earlier work hadn't. They followed it with albums like "É Diferente" in 2004 and "Só Pra Você" in 2005, which maintained their popularity.

They toured Brazil and neighboring countries, sometimes sharing stages with artists like Ivete Sangalo. In later years, they continued performing and recording, though their commercial peak had passed. Their music, including songs like "Um Último Olhar," remains part of the Brazilian pop landscape from that period.
