A Brazilian band that formed in 1998 and kept evolving until their 2018 breakup.
For a sense of their later sound, try 'Sou Dela' or 'Por Um Simples Momento.' They're both straightforward, no-fuss tracks from their later years.
They started with a solid lineup, Pedro Bial on vocals, Marcelo Camelo on guitar, Rodrigo Amarante on bass, and Mariá Portugal on drums, and put out 'D'trix' in 2000. Their second album, '16,' gave them 'Aconteceu Comigo,' a song that got around. Later tracks like 'Sou Dela' and 'Por Um Simples Momento' show they kept writing even after the original members drifted apart.
They formed in Belo Horizonte in 1998 and released their first album two years later. Camelo and Amarante eventually left, with Bial and Portugal carrying on with new musicians for albums like 'Nação' and 'Fé' before calling it quits in 2018.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
