Banda Existência formed in São Paulo in 1997 with Felipe Lira on vocals, Rafael Lessa on guitar, Ricardo Neto on bass, and Cristiano Ribeiro on drums. They released their debut album in 2001, which included the song "Gesto, Verso e Olhar." That track became their most recognizable piece.
Their second album, "Mais que Palavras," came out in 2003. They followed it with records like "Quando os Anjos Gritam" in 2005, "Maré" in 2007, and "Psicodália" in 2010. Other songs in their catalog include "Alto Preço," "Conto Com Você," "Eu Sei," and "Haja o Que Houver."
Lira handled most of the singing and songwriting, while Lessa played lead guitar. Neto was the bassist, and Ribeiro played drums.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
